Role Summary: We're looking for a VP of Sales to join our quickly growing sales team. Today our VP of Sales will be joining inKind at the inflection point between functioning as a startup and scaling rapidly to capture the market as a growth company. The VP of Sales will be a high-impact contributor who can accelerate and grow all sales functions quickly both internally and externally. You'll be responsible for sales strategy, collaboration strategies, and creating new efficiencies that impact the bottom line.
Responsibilities: - Help drive aggressive sales hiring forward
- Execute upon our Enterprise sales strategies and create a streamlined process to work with thousands of independent operators to help scale and capture all key markets across the country
- Lead and mentor a team of account executives with defined metrics and accountability
- Work cross-functionally with other business leaders
- Must have a strong mastery of the inKind model and product
- Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
- Align revenue strategy with overall company objectives
Requirements - Successfully managed and scaled a rapidly growing sales team preferably in a market with a first-mover advantage to 100+ employees in 12 months
- 7+ years of sales experience in either SaaS, fintech, or the hospitality industry.
- Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Experience working with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
- Experience working for or with established restaurant groups is a plus
- Working knowledge of restaurant group accounting/finance is a plus
