Financial Analyst

Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst is a trusted advisor on company-wide financial matters, especially pertaining to inKind's investment portfolio. You will analyze financial data and develop recommendations that will drive business decisions and inKind's growth. You will support and improve processes and systems within the finance groups to evaluate inKind's restaurant investments and underwriting decisions.

Please note, this role is required to be in office Monday-Friday and abide by our COVID19 safety plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs basic financial analysis, such as interpreting data from financial statements and collateral analysis
  • Responsible for building and maintaining financial models, monitoring portfolio concentration, and reporting on the performance of restaurant investments
  • Perform analysis that provides actionable insights to leadership
  • Perform ad hoc ROI analysis and develop recommendations on the next steps
  • Optimize and automate existing underwriting processes and evaluate the metrics that result in successful investments
  • Present the full analysis of the potential underwriting targets to Investment Committee to review
  • Analyze and QA data as needed
  • Identify and recommend enhancements with respect to content, process, and controls
  • Provide financial and strategic support to senior management and the founders, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, and other projects

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in FinTech, investment management, or corporate finance
  • Prior experience in banking, private equity, or credit is a plus
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal, quantitative, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under tight time constraints and multi-task on various projects
  • Knowledge of reporting in Tableau and SQL/database structures

Salary
  • $70k-$80k DOE
