Technical Project Manager

Role Summary:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for documenting and deploying organizational strategies to help development-related projects cross the finish line. The Tech PM works closely with the technology and product team to accomplish their daily tasks and helps the team document and keep track of their work. Furthermore, the Tech PM works as a filter for the team by removing unnecessary tasks and requests.

This role requires a background in software development and is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all dev and product personnel
  • Analyze, plan and organize execution strategies for projects and implementations, own sprint planning and facilitate day-to-day task management
  • Maintain technology and product roadmaps, provide insight into prioritization efforts
  • Help in writing out technical requirements, breaking down tickets to assign to the appropriate teams, and assessing task size
  • Develop cohesive requirements for new features and identify areas requiring research and tech spikes
  • Create user stories for development and testing
  • Keep all documentation up to date and projects on track
  • Make sure all team members are working towards established goals and milestones
  • Check in daily with team members to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects, work to unblock and problem-solve
  • Oversee Quality Assurance team members and assist in documenting testing plans
  • Work with Human Resources to recruit and train high level developer/product talent

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technical project management experience
  • Software development experience
  • Experience with ClickUp preferred
  • Agile experience highly preferred
  • Professional Project Management Certification or Degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with growth-minded companies a plus

    Salary
    $105k-$125k per annum DOE
