Email Marketing Manager

Role Summary:
We are looking for a talented Email Marketing Manager who is an expert in B2C email communications and respective systems. This person is looking for a role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where he or she can help to scale and grow our existing email marketing program. You will be responsible for building a high-performing, data-driven, and technology-enabled email operation with the goal of driving growth and optimizing channel performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns across all channels (email, push, SMS, in-app, site) to drive revenue
  • Build and own the end-to-end process for certain campaigns across email, site, and app with segmentation and relevant, dynamic content
  • Lead large-scale CRM initiatives from development to execution by analyzing customer insights and trends
  • Partner with the campaign team to develop and optimize existing lifecycle and behavioral campaigns through leading journeys, content, and continuous testing
  • Partner with our analytics, technology and product teams to get new customer behavior data from our core platform into our marketing automation system to drive more personalized campaigns
  • Collaborate with brand designers and copywriters to deliver outstanding messaging to our customers that encourage action. This includes briefing new requests and working through feedback/finalizing deliverables
  • Partner with analytics to build reports on a recurring basis that help the team understand performance to goal
  • Partner with analytics to craft a robust A/B testing and experimentation roadmap that uncovers key insights about our customer segments and turn those findings into relevant KPI improvements
  • Build and maintain the email calendar. Understand business rules including frequency, client rules, and compliance rules
  • Handle email deliverability and troubleshoot issues if they arise
  • Follow best practices regarding list hygiene, segmentation, and engagement scores

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the email marketing, lifecycle, or CRM fields
  • Background in customer acquisition, re-engagement, and retention strategies
  • Track-record of success building and iterating customer workflows to drive business impact, with quantifiable results to prove it.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments to execute projects
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working with an in-house creative team a plus
  • Ability to work quickly and independently while under deadline pressure and follow through on assignments
  • Experience with HTML & CSS a plus
  • Experience with Cordial a plus
