Sr HR Manager

Role Summary:
A Senior HR Manager at inKind is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to HR. They are responsible for managing day to day HR operations, providing support in developing HR strategy, and the development and stabilization of company culture. They are compliance driven but look at the company through the lens of an employee, as they too are a part of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Create the backbone of the HR Department, providing oversight and leadership
  • Formulate an HR Strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and goals
  • Work with leadership to identify culture/hiring strategy
  • Develop, implement and oversee the full recruitment cycle, inclusive of outreach, offer process, onboarding program, diversity & inclusion strategy, benefits
  • Conduct screening interviews and support the scheduling of interviews for hiring managers and leadership team
  • Oversee HR related functions and ensure they are in compliance with legal and government reporting requirements
  • Develop and maintain the InKind employee handbook
  • Support in the development and implementation of policies and procedures within the organization, including compliance training, safety implementation, and the employee life cycle management process
  • Conduct/oversee the payroll process & facilitate the administration of employee benefits
  • Continuously review and identify competitive company benefit plans
  • Lead the performance management process, including creating a plan to manage annual reviews, conduct training on goal-setting, utilize budgets to organize development activities and work one-on-one with managers and employees
  • Lead all employee relations with professional grace; lead investigations to resolve issues/conflict in the workplace
  • Maintain an effective negotiation process and harmonious employee/employer relationship
  • Support in building and sustaining a company culture that will grow as the company grows, inclusive of employee wellness programs, employee engagement surveys, and team-building/employment activities

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Heavy HR generalist experience —a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to HR
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal support
  • Experience dealing with heavy recruiting efforts including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates and streamlining the recruitment process
  • Ability to pivot quickly between multiple projects
  • Experience dealing with hyper growth:50+ employees within a one year period
  • Experience developing onboarding processes from the ground up or on the fly
  • Direct experience coordinating with members of the executive leadership team, a plus
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and experience maintaining employee handbooks
  • A candidate that has experience in a corporate setting but has shifted to agency/startup environments within the last 4+ years.
